As broker for Main Place, I bring a diverse background to the world of real estate. Before entering the industry, I spent 12 years serving the U.S. Navy, then earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma State University, serving an additional 9 years as a Registered Nurse and traveling the country as a Military Spouse.
Since moving to Decatur, my family and I have worked on restoring two homes in the Historic District. In doing this, I have grown to love Decatur and the Macon County area and all it has to offer. This place truly has a little bit for everyone! I understand the work, dedication and pride involved with caring for one of Decatur’s historic homes and believe that a large part of preserving the homes and history in Decatur is serving the community both professionally and personally.
As a Veteran and Military Spouse, I understand the challenges of moving from out of state, finding the perfect home, integrating your family into a new community, and working with the VA and the State of Illinois for Veteran benefits.
